The Stockalper palace is a castle in the canton Wallis at Brig on the foot of the Simplon pass to Italy. It was built in the late 17th century by the merchant Stockalper. Around Brig there are many possibilities to enjoy mountain regions. One of them is the village Bürchen and the Moosalp at 2000 m. There is a seasonal alpine dairy farm selling cheese from their manufactury. In the winter it is a ski resort.
